Basic Helicopter Landing Officer’s Course
Course Objectives
On completion of the training, participants would
- Appreciate and understand the responsibilities of an Helicopter Landing Officer (HLO) in coordination of the Helideck crew
- Safely and efficiently board and disembark passengers, Baggages and freights from the Helicopters operating to and from the rig, Platforms and operational base helipads
- Assert authority in dissemination Helicopter duties, taking safety as priority
- Be a valuable human asset in an airline

- Duties and responsibility of Helicopter Landing Officer (HLO)

- Passenger handling
- Pilot requirement from the HLO
- Procedure to be followed in Helicopter operations

- Retueching
- Practical demonstration to be covered
